Great Hearts Academies seeks a full-time Co-Curricular Campus Coordinator to manage After-School Athenaeum and Summer Programs at an assigned location. The role requires oversight of enrollment, budgeting, licensing compliance, staff development, and engagement with students, parents, and academy staff.
Responsibilities include implementing the classical curriculum, enforcing policies, and representing programs at campus events. Benefits are provided for a 12-month, full-time position.
The Co-Curricular Campus Coordinator manages and operates all Great Hearts Co-Curricular programs at their assigned location including After-School Athenaeum and Summer Programs. This is a full-time, 12-month, benefits-eligible position.
The successful candidate will be a principled, professional leader with an independent work ethic and a heart of service to others. They must demonstrate sound business judgment and wisdom in dealing with people. They will possess requisite experience in the field of liberal arts and/or education, as well as experience working with children and children’s programming. Preference will be given to candidates who have worked in a licensed program. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) preferred. Must be at least 21 years of age, have a high school diploma or equivalent, possess or obtain valid Arizona Department of Public Safety fingerprint clearance card. Meets qualifications of Facility Director in accordance with the Arizona Department of Health Services Bureau of Child Care Licensing preferred. Required to obtain CPR/First Aid certification upon hire.
Type of fingerprint clearance: Must possess or obtain valid Arizona Department of Public Safety IVP fingerprint clearance card. Physical functions: Requires but is not limited to standing, sitting, repetitious hand and body movements, bending, squatting, and reaching. May be required to move or position equipment up to 15 pounds approximately. Travel required: May need to travel locally to the various academies within the Phoenix metro area. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a criminal history background check and fingerprint clearance in accordance with state requirements. Travel required: May need to travel locally for training and professional development opportunities. This description reflects management’s assignment of essential functions.
