Job summary
Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services in Belmont, NC is hiring immediately for full-time and part-time COOK positions. The role requires prior experience with recipes, food safety, cleaning, and operating a flat-top and fryers.
Location: 100 Belmont Mount Holly Road, Belmont, NC 28012; online applications accepted only. We offer training, full-time is 30 hours+ with benefits, 401k, free meal, and free tuition for you/spouse/kids after 1 year.
Qualifications
- Prior experience following recipes.
- Knowledge of food safety procedures.
- Experience cleaning to standard sanitation levels.
- Ability to operate flat-top grills and fryers.
Responsibilities
- Prepare high-quality food according to recipes and schedules.
- Serve meals and prep for delivery with proper portions and temperatures.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper storage of food and supplies.
- Assist in ordering, receiving, and inventory as required.
- Follow HACCP standards and safety guidelines.
