Job summary

Compass Group USA in Worcester, MA is hiring immediately for full-time COOK positions. The schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, 10:30 am to 7:30 pm, and Sunday through Thursday, 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Prior cooking or batch cooking experience is a plus. The fixed pay rate is $19.25 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards, ensuring that food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty.
• Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators and managers.
• Follows HACCP standards and safety procedures.
