Responsibilities

• Prepare high‑quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery, and service schedules.
• Serve meals or prepare them for delivery, ensuring correct portioning, temperature, and visual appeal. Taste all prepared food items.
• Use established ticket collection procedures during service and maintain accurate records.
• Clean the kitchen after preparation and service, keeping standards of cleanliness high. Store or discard excess food following safe food‑handling procedures.
• Maintain refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized, ensuring proper storage of food and supplies.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment as instructed.
• Assist in production planning, record keeping, and reporting as required.
• Assist in ordering and receiving all food and supplies.
• Report needed maintenance, faulty equipment, or accidents to the supervisor immediately.
• Attend in‑service and safety meetings.
• Maintain good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators, and managers.
• Perform the job safely while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and maintenance of serving temperatures; follow HACCP standards.
• Commit personally to safety for self and others.
• Abide by all company policies and procedures, including: Using gloves when handling knives, peelers, choppers, mandolins, or cleaning slicers; Using oven mitts, fryer gloves, or steamer gloves when handling hot pans; Using slip‑resistant shoes and proper lifting techniques.
