Job summary

Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services at USF Tampa is hiring for a Cook position. We have both full-time and part-time openings.

The role requires cook experience and represents a hands-on opportunity in a campus dining program, with shifts that may include weekends and holidays. You will prepare food according to recipes, portion accurately, maintain kitchen cleanliness, follow safety standards, and assist in ordering and inventory.

Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning and ensuring proper serving temperatures.
• Maintains cleanliness and safety of the kitchen and storage areas.
• Assists in ordering and receiving food and supplies as required.
• Reports maintenance issues or unsafe conditions to supervision.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
