The University of Missouri-Columbia seeks a Construction Manager II to act as the owner’s representative on campus construction projects, interpreting, administering, and enforcing contracts during the construction phase.

You will lead large, technically complex projects, manage schedules and budgets, coordinate with design project managers and consultants, and ensure constructability and alignment with University needs and facilities goals.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with at least 3 years of related experience.
• Licensure may be required.
• Preferred: Bachelor's in architecture, engineering, or construction management.
• Five to seven years' experience in facility design and/or project/construction management.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Aufgaben

• Manage large and technically complex contracted construction projects; ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and contract requirements.
• Manage project schedule to ensure progress, monitor manpower and material delivery to meet timelines.
• Oversee construction budget, contribute to initial budget and revisions, oversee transactions during construction.
• Collaborate with design project managers and consultants to ensure designs meet university and end-user needs.
• Represent the University’s interests as Owner’s Representative to minimize campus disruption and ensure quality outcomes.
• Resolve design and constructability issues and recommend solutions to changed field conditions.
