Job summary

JE Dunn Construction invites energetic students to join our internship program in Tempe, AZ, gaining hands-on experience in construction project support under close supervision. You will assist with project management, estimating, safety, and accounting tasks to support company policies and objectives while you study.

You'll monitor crew size, track hours, materials, and equipment; receive progress reports; observe job sites with leadership; assist in close-out tasks and bid coordination;

Qualifications

• Enrollment in accredited Bachelor's Degree program or higher, and coursework in the area related to the internship opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Monitor crew size, self-perform hours, materials, quantity and equipment.
• Provide progress updates and reports.
• Conduct job site observations with project leadership.
• Support the close out of projects, including punchlist, operations and maintenance manuals, as-built drawings, etc.
• Support vendor/trade partner pricing/bid solicitation and coordination.
• Participate in all aspects of the project-specific safety plan and culture.
• Work collaboratively and create relationships with project team members, trade partners, vendors and clients.
• Perform other duties as required by supervisor.
