Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking Campus Interns to provide basic, routine support for construction-related functions under close supervision, gaining real-world experience to complement college coursework.

Interns will monitor crew size, materials, and hours, provide progress updates, conduct site observations with project leadership, and assist with close-out activities, safety plans, and coordination with vendors and clients on project teams.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in an accredited Bachelor’s Degree program or higher, in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Monitor crew size, self-perform hours, materials, quantity and equipment.
• Provide progress updates and reports.
• Conduct job site observations with project leadership.
• Support the close out of projects, including punchlist, operations and maintenance manuals, as-built drawings, etc.
• Support vendor/trade partner pricing/bid solicitation and coordination
• Participate in all aspects of the project-specific safety plan and culture
• Work collaboratively and create relationships with project team members, trade partners, vendors and clients
• Perform other duties as required by supervisor
