Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a campus intern to provide basic, routine support for construction-related functions under supervision. You will gain real-world, hands-on experience while supporting project management, estimating, safety, and accounting activities.

Responsibilities include monitoring crew activity, providing progress updates, conducting site observations, and assisting with close-out documentation.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in accredited Bachelor’s Degree program or higher, and coursework in the area(s) related to the internship opportunity
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to be flexible and work under pressure to meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Monitor crew size, self-perform hours, materials, quantity and equipment.
• Provide progress updates and reports.
• Conduct job site observations with project leadership.
• Support the close out of projects, including punchlists, as-built drawings, and manuals.
• Support vendor/trade partner pricing/bid solicitation and coordination.
• Participate in project safety plan and culture.
• Collaborate with project team, trade partners, vendors and clients.
• Perform other duties as required by supervisor
