Job summary

The University of Texas at Arlington seeks an experienced leader to oversee all Institutional Construction projects on campus. You will manage Construction Project Coordinators, JOC vendors, and IDIQ contractors, ensuring budgets, schedules, and quality control while coordinating with diverse campus partners.

You will provide guidance on constructability reviews, maintain project documentation, and utilize PlanGrid, ProCore, and eBuilder to support project workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with five years of experience in construction project management or coordination.
• Knowledge of and experience with appropriate computer applications.
• Ability to interact with contractors, construction inspectors, and UT Arlington personnel involved in construction phases of projects.
• Ability to maintain accurate project documentation.
• Experience with PlanGrid, ProCore, and eBuilder; familiarity with MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily oversight of Construction Project Coordinators, JOC’s and vendors.
• Coordinate with design team construction administrators, facilities shops and campus partners to ensure work conforms to codes and standards.
• Ensure adherence to Institutional Construction processes and policies for all project phases.
• Manage budget development, schedules, change orders, submittals, and project close out including substantial completion.
• Oversee coordination during pre-construction, abatement, demolition, installation of equipment/furniture and move-in.
• Respond to emergencies and ensure safety and order at job sites.
