Job summary

Epic in Madison, WI is seeking a network engineer to install, configure, and support our campus and cloud networks. The role involves evaluating technology, designing WAN connectivity, configuring firewall rules, and improving internal infrastructure.

You will work on infrastructure as code with Terraform and Ansible in a collaborative team, with relocation assistance provided to Madison, and opportunities to impact networks serving national healthcare customers.

Qualifications

• Experience or interest in switches, routers, access points, and/or UPSes.
• Proficiency with Cisco enterprise hardware preferred; up-to-date CCNA or CCNP certification helpful.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and support Epic's campus and cloud networks.
• Evaluate technology and influence changes in Epic's internal infrastructure.
• Configure firewall rules and design/troubleshoot WAN connectivity.
• Leverage Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure as code deployments.
