Job summary

Epic is seeking a network engineer to install, configure, and support our campus and cloud networks. You will evaluate technology and influence changes in Epic's internal infrastructure, working with Cisco hardware and a variety of vendors.

The role emphasizes infrastructure as code using Terraform and Ansible to deploy changes across the network. Based on our Madison, WI campus, relocation assistance is provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience or interest in switches, routers, access points, and/or UPSes.
• Proficiency with Cisco enterprise hardware preferred; CCNA or CCNP certification helpful.
• Relocation to Madison, WI area (reimbursed).
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
• COVID-19 vaccination.

Responsibilities

• Configure firewall rules and design/troubleshoot WAN connectivity.
• Leverage infrastructure as code with Terraform and Ansible for deployments.
