Job summary

Epic, located near Madison, WI, seeks a network engineer to install, configure, and support campus and cloud networks. You will evaluate technology, influence changes in Epic's internal infrastructure, and troubleshoot WAN connectivity.

Relocation to the Madison area is reimbursed; IaC with Terraform and Ansible will be used for deployments. A Bachelor's degree and Cisco experience are required, with CCNA/CCNP helpful.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; strong foundation in network design and operations.
• Experience installing, configuring, and supporting campus and cloud networks; knowledge of switches, routers, and WAN.
• Familiarity with defense-in-depth and security best practices is a plus.
• CCNA or CCNP certification is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and support campus and cloud networks for Epic's environment.
• Evaluate technology and influence changes to Epic's internal infrastructure.
• Design and troubleshoot WAN connectivity; configure firewall rules as needed.
• Leverage Terraform and Ansible to enable infrastructure as code for deployments.
