Job summary

Middleburysnowbowl is seeking a full-time Central Heating Plant Operator to operate and maintain systems that support the College’s environmental goals. Responsibilities include collecting plant data, maintaining logs, and ensuring compliance with quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, at least 2 years of relevant experience, and be flexible with work hours. The position offers competitive hourly pay between $28.98 and $34.05, plus comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience required in power plant or equivalent operations.
• Certification/license in power plant operation preferred.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning and maintenance of boiler systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain Central Heating Plant systems and equipment.
• Collect plant process data and maintain logs throughout the shift.
• Ensure compliance with all Air Quality Permit requirements.

Skills

Basic math and computer skills

Troubleshooting for heating plant systems

Knowledge of OSHA regulations
