zTrip is seeking dependable Campus CDL Shuttle Drivers to provide safe, reliable shuttle services for students, faculty, staff and visitors on campus.

You will operate CDL shuttle vehicles, meet schedules, assist passengers, and support accessibility needs, with a strong focus on safety and customer service.

This role offers a stable schedule, ongoing training, and opportunities for professional growth within a respected campus transportation team.

• Valid CDL Class B or higher.
• Passenger Endorsement (P) required.

Responsibilities

• Safe Passenger Transportation: Safely operate a CDL shuttle vehicle along designated campus routes and ensure passengers arrive safely and on time.
• Customer Service & Passenger Assistance: Greet passengers, provide route information, assist with entry/exit, and support accessibility needs.
• Vehicle Operations & Safety: Conduct pre-trip/post-trip inspections, maintain a clean vehicle, report issues, and adhere to policies and regulations.
• Team Collaboration: Communicate with dispatch and supervisors and support on-time service and route reliability.

What You'll Do as a Campus CDL Shuttle Driver:

Safe Passenger Transportation

• Safely operate a CDL shuttle vehicle along designated campus routes.
• Transport passengers efficiently between campus facilities, parking areas, housing locations, and other approved destinations.
• Follow established schedules while maintaining safe driving practices.
• Navigate routes with professionalism and attention to passenger safety.
• Ensure passengers arrive at their destinations comfortably and on time.

Customer Service & Passenger Assistance

• Greet passengers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Provide information regarding shuttle routes, stops, and schedules.
• Assist passengers entering and exiting the vehicle as needed.
• Support individuals with accessibility and mobility needs.
• Create a welcoming and positive transportation experience for all riders.
• Respond to passenger questions courteously and professionally.

Vehicle Operations & Safety

• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and passenger-ready vehicle.
• Operate wheelchair lifts, ramps, and accessibility equipment when required.
• Report maintenance concerns, safety issues, or incidents promptly.
• Complete required logs, reports, and operational documentation accurately.
• Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and transportation regulations.

Team Collaboration

• Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and fellow drivers.
• Assist with service adjustments and operational needs as required.
• Support on-time service and route reliability goals.
• Contribute to a culture focused on safety, professionalism, and teamwork.

Qualifications of a Campus CDL Shuttle Driver:

Required

• Valid CDL Class B or higher.
• Passenger (P) Endorsement required.
• Clean driving record and commitment to safe driving practices.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and professional attitude.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining service standards.

Preferred

• Previous experience operating shuttle buses, transit vehicles, campus transportation vehicles, or passenger transportation services.
• Experience assisting passengers with accessibility needs.
• Familiarity with campus, transit, or shuttle operations.
• Experience in transportation, customer service, hospitality, or public service environments.
