Job summary

Guckenheimer is seeking a dedicated catering assistant to deliver and set up catered foods on campus and client sites. You will arrange meals attractively with all utensils and condiments, ensuring timely deliveries and proper presentation.

The role requires knowledge of standard catering equipment, basic computer skills, and a deduced commitment to safety and customer service. Hospitality mindset preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to use standard kitchen equipment safely (knives, ovens, slicers, steamers).
• Experience in catering and/or events preferred (1 year).
• Able to use basic computer programs for inputting and organizing data and menus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and set up catered foods to client standards.
• Read and organize delivery schedules to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Use standard catering equipment safely and maintain HACCP compliance.
• Support other catering staff during busy periods and emergencies.
