Job summary

Elior Collegiate Dining is seeking a Director of Catering for the Bowie, MD area (Bowie State University). You will provide leadership to the collegiate dining unit, guiding sales, events, and client relationships to drive revenue and guest satisfaction.

You will recruit and develop a high-performing catering sales team, manage budgets and profitability, and uphold the company’s standards of integrity and safety.

Qualifications

• Seven years’ experience in event or catering sales management.
• Excellent leadership and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership to the unit sales team to meet revenue goals.
• Build and train the unit sales team for success and growth.
• Develop business performance against sales standards and metrics.
• Build and maintain positive client and employee relationships.
• Ensure integrity and accountability in all business dealings.
