Santa Fe College is seeking a skilled Carpenter to maintain and repair college facilities, grounds, and infrastructure. The role covers flooring, roofing, drywall, cabinetry, tilework, and safety inspections to ensure ADA and Building Code compliance.

Responsibilities include performing renovations, assembling furniture, responding to emergency repairs, coordinating with supervisors on work orders, and using an ERP system to log tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Carpentry certification from a recognized vocational or trade school or four years of related work experience.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and follow technical specifications.

Responsabilités

• Completes repairs to maintain structural integrity and safety of facilities.
• Performs minor renovations, maintenance, and repairs for offices and classrooms.
• Assembles, installs and repairs furniture and equipment.
• Responds to emergency repair calls to ensure a safe environment.
• Coordinates with supervisor to schedule and prioritize work orders.
• Works with other trades to coordinate repairs and scheduled work.
• Works from aerial lift and elevated platforms up to 65 feet.
• Ensures ADAAA and Florida Building Code compliance with carpentry work.
