Job summary

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent with two years of related experience, or a technical/vocational degree. A valid Florida or Georgia driver’s license is required or must be obtained after hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and two years' experience, or a relevant Technical or vocational degree may substitute for experience.
• A valid State of Florida or Georgia Driver’s License or the ability to obtain upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Builds, erects, installs, and repairs forms, structures, and other fixtures made from wood and other materials to assist with various construction projects; installs cabinets, vanities, shelving, doors and hardware; uses hand and power tools to complete projects.
• Operates vehicles to carry supplies campus-wide; reviews plans, documents work performed, and orders materials; maintains safe, clean work environment and travels to job sites.
• Maintains inventory and condition of tools and equipment; prepares material requests; supervises helpers for minor plaster, sheet rock, tile, and carpet repairs.
