Job summary

South Carolina Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities, Office of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, Midlands Regional Center in Columbia, SC, seeks a Campus Support Coordinator to monitor safety, staff coverage, and consumer welfare within an ICF-IID setting. Role includes daily logs, risk reporting, and hands-on assistance as needed.

Applicants should have a high school diploma, valid driver’s license, and experience in leadership, safety, and emergency

Qualifications

• High school diploma and management experience in federal, state, or private organizations.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Knowledge of safety, security, fire protection, and emergency procedures.
• Ability to follow ICF regulations and BSP procedures.

Responsibilities

• Protect the property of the Regional Center and safeguard individuals' rights.
• Ensure health, safety, and developmental needs of consumers per ICF regulations.
• Maintain proper staffing levels and monitor coverage per DP H standards.
• Conduct rounds, fire drills, and emergency drills; document issues in daily logs.
• Provide hands-on care and assist with daily living activities as needed.
• Report incidents to management and assist with programmatic issues per BSP.
