Job summary

Dine College on the Tsaile campus is seeking a Food Service Worker to input sales in POS, prepare and serve meals, and maintain clean, stocked service areas while assisting customers.

Requires a high school diploma or GED, Arizona Food Handler’s Card or ServSafe after 30 days, 6 months cashier and 6 months related food service or customer service experience, English literacy, and COVID-19 vaccination.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Arizona Food Handler’s Card or ServSafe contingent upon 30 days of hire.
• Six months cashier experience.
• Six months of related food service or customer service experience.
• Must speak, understand, read and write English.
• COVID-19 vaccination required at this location.
• One year of customer service experience preferred.
• One year of food prep or related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Properly input sales into the POS system.
• Maintain product levels and refresh stock as needed.
• Clean and wipe work areas, remove garbage, wash dishes, and sanitize surfaces.
• Report quality or quantity issues to the supervisor.
• Assist customers with information, order selections, and recommendations.
• Count cash drawers to prepare deposits.
• Prepare food and cook entrees.
• Assist with large cleaning projects as scheduled.
• Not responsible for supervising staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
