Job summary

The Kentucky Community and Technical College System (Southcentral KY Community & Technical College) is seeking a part-time Student Worker to support the Grove Cafe. Must meet federal work-study eligibility and be a current SKYCTC student to assist during peak service times.

Responsibilities include customer service, cash handling, food prep and sanitation, and vending operations, all performed on-site with an emphasis on safe, high-quality food service and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Delivers excellent customer service and ensures a positive cafe experience.
• Assists with cash handling, food preparation, and sanitation as needed.
• Shares responsibility for preparing baked goods, sandwiches, salads, soups and other cafe foods.
• Maintains clean FOH/BOH workstations and production equipment.
• Keeps punctuality and attendance in good standing.
• Follows safety and hygiene regulations in all tasks.
• Supports vending machine operations per policies.
