Job summary

The University of Arkansas invites applications for a Bus Operator with Razorback Transit. You will drive a campus and city route bus, perform pre-operational checks, and help ensure safe, reliable service for students and the public.

The position includes paid CDL training, a fixed schedule Tuesday–Saturday during peak hours, and opportunities to learn technology and work in a team. Applicants must meet DOT/driver qualifications and be legally eligible to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Pass DOT physical examination and obtain DOT medical examiner's certificate.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Age 18 or older.
• Valid Driver’s License in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Drive a campus and city street bus on fixed routes.
• Perform pre-operational safety and maintenance checks.
• Record statistics for daily reports on fixed route service.
• Maintain regular, reliable attendance and collegial relationships.
• Razorback Transit provides paid CDL training to obtain the CDL.
