California State University, Fullerton (CSUF) seeks a Building Service Engineer to operate, maintain, and service critical campus mechanical systems, including trigeneration and absorption chillers. The role requires journey-level experience, strong knowledge of boilers and HVAC, and familiarity with EMS/BMS systems.

Candidates should be able to read drawings, estimate materials, and respond to emergencies.

Qualifications

• Two years of journey-level experience in operation, maintenance, and repair of boiler, heating, ventilating, refrigeration, and air conditioning equipment and systems.
• Knowledge of high- and low-pressure boilers, HVAC and related mechanical equipment.
• Ability to read, interpret, and work from blueprints, plans, drawings, and specifications.

Responsabilités

• Operate, maintain, service, troubleshoot, repair, and inspect mechanical equipment and components related to the Central Plant and campus systems.
• Interact with campus groups and work in a team environment to support University operations.
• Maintain records and prepare standard reports and respond to emergency situations.
