Auburn University is seeking a Building Specialist to support operations and events at the Melton Student Center and campus locations. Responsibilities include cleaning, set-up, and maintenance tasks performed during non-traditional hours 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Qualified candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with 3 years of custodial experience preferred. Opportunities center on teamwork and campus event support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years of custodial care experience or substitution via education per policy.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to climb a ladder with a spotter present.

Responsabilités

• Perform custodial duties and housekeeping to accommodate events.
• Clean upholstery, carpets, and restrooms across facilities.
• Identify and report maintenance issues.
• Stock supply closets at various locations.
• Assist in organizing and set-up of events (tables, chairs, A/V, tents).
• Operate service vehicles, lift devices, and floor maintenance tools.
• May operate laundry facilities and elevators as needed.
• Operate a two-way radio to coordinate with event staff.
