Job summary

Auburn University Facilities Management is seeking dedicated Custodian candidates to keep campus facilities clean, safe, and welcoming for students, staff, and visitors. You will perform cleaning tasks such as mopping and waxing floors, washing windows, dusting, and trash disposal to maintain spaces in excellent condition.

You will also maintain equipment, assist with building inspections, and help arrange tables and chairs for events.

Qualifications

• Level I: Ability to read and write.
• Level II: Ability to read and 2 years of experience in custodial floor care techniques.

Responsibilities

• Cleans University buildings to ensure facilities are in suitable condition for activities, including mopping and waxing floors, washing windows, dusting, and trash disposal.
• Maintains equipment and supplies to complete tasks.
• May assist in building inspections to determine custodial needs and assist in arranging tables and chairs for special events.
