Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree in business or related area required; govern staff, inventory, budgeting responsibilities.
• Strong customer service and communication skills; proven ability to manage multiple projects.
• Proficiency with computers and POS systems (Banner/WingPrism) and basic inventory controls.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all bookstore resources including purchases, rentals, and digital materials.
• Coordinate with faculty and vendors to ensure timely course material availability and policy compliance.
• Supervise campus bookstore staff and maintain payroll and leave records.
• Oversee ordering, receiving, pricing of textbooks and materials; manage bookstore budget and reporting.
• Create purchase orders and receiving documents in Banner; maintain accurate records and reconcile procurement card usage.
• Maintain MGCCC book service records and inventory controls using Winprism POS; conduct yearly inventory and monitor shrinkage.
• Handle money collection, deposits, and reconciliation; ensure proper cash controls.
• Develop staff through College Employee Development program and perform other duties as assigned.
