SST Corpus Christi College Prep. HS seeks a Teacher Fellow to provide classroom coverage when teachers are absent and support campus-wide duties. This role serves as a talent pipeline for future full-time teaching openings within the district.

Bachelor's degree required (or actively pursuing). Non-exempt, full-time, 193-day calendar, salary range $21.00–$30.94 per hour, based in Corpus Christi, TX.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required (or actively pursuing degree).
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work with diverse students and staff.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction based on provided lesson plans and objectives.
• Cover classrooms campus-wide when the assigned teacher is absent.
• Manage student behavior and classroom routines.
• Take attendance and complete required documentation.
• Build positive, professional relationships with students, staff, families, and campus leadership.
• Work collaboratively with experienced teachers to strengthen instructional planning and practices.
• Communicate with administration on coverage needs.
• Attend required staff meetings and professional development.
• Step into full-time teaching roles as openings arise.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
