Job summary

Communities In Schools of Central Texas is seeking a Program Director for Campus-Based Services to lead CIS Program Managers in multiple schools within Austin ISD, ensuring effective organization, implementation, and supervision of activities, services, staff, and programs.

The role requires traveling across Austin campuses, overseeing hiring, onboarding, supervision, and ongoing development of programs to support student success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of program management experience.
• Minimum 2 years of team management and supervision.
• 2+ years in progressive leadership roles.
• Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusive culture.
• Experience collaborating with CIS staff, school personnel and community partners.

Responsibilities

• Travel across North to South Austin to support Navarro vertical team, Northeast vertical team, and ALC.
• Coordinate hiring process for vacant Program Manager positions.
• Provide orientation, supervision, support, and training to Program Managers.
• Conduct periodic performance reviews for Program Managers and supervisees.
• Develop programming opportunities with Program Managers for client developmental needs.
• Develop programs and activities to engage families and improve student achievement.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and agency policies.
• Maintain positive relationships with administration, teachers, and campus staff.
• Prepare and submit reports as required.
• Promote CIS team approach to service delivery and problem-solving.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Perform other duties as required by leadership.
