Job summary

Directions for Living is seeking a licensed clinical professional to provide brief treatment to enrolled college-age students on college campuses. The counselor will rotate between campuses and work with referrals from SPC, meeting 75% client-facing care and 1440 billable hours annually.

This field-based role requires Masters level expertise, independent work capability, and a willingness to adapt to campus settings with no remote work option.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field is required.
• Knowledge of DSM-IV and ICD-9 diagnostic codes is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of psychotropic medications.
• Must have sufficient clinical knowledge to provide intervention with adults.
• Willingness to learn approaches with which staff are less familiar as required.
• Knowledge of community resources.

Responsibilities

• Provide brief treatment to eligible enrolled college-age students in a college campus setting.
• Co-located and rotated between college campuses, with referrals from SPC.
• Meet client facing care requirements of 75% (1440 billable hours annually or 30 billable hours per week).
• Field based position with no remote or work-from-home option.
