Job summary

Nana Management Services, LLC is seeking a Barista to support the Warrior Coffee House on the Dine College campus in Tsaile, AZ. The role focuses on customer service, beverage preparation, cash handling, and maintaining clean work areas on-site.

Qualified candidates have at least 6 months of barista and food handling experience, possess a High School Diploma or GED, and can communicate in English. COVID-19 vaccination is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Arizona Food Handler’s Card or ServSafe Certification contingent upon 30 days of hire.
• Six (6) months barista experience.
• Six (6) months training or experience that includes professional food handling or food preparation responsibilities.
• Six (6) months of cashier experience.
• Contract requires employees to speak, understand, read and write English.
• This work location requires COVID-19 vaccination.

Responsibilities

• Assists customers with general information, inquires, food and beverage order selection and recommendations.
• Brews a wide variety of specialty coffees, teas, hot chocolate, using espresso machines, coffee urns and blended drinks.
• Prepares various food products following standard food handling procedures.
• Inputs sales into the POS systems.
• Counts cash drawers to prepare deposits.
• Keeps manager informed of inventory stock levels.
• Follows cash handling policies and procedures.
• Observes and resolves issues with food quality or quantity.
• Continuously cleans and wipes work areas and equipment.
• Assists with periodically scheduled large cleaning projects.
• This position is not responsible for supervising staff.
• Other duties relevant to department success may be assigned.
