Job summary

Sodexo at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts in Winston-Salem is seeking a Barista to deliver high-quality beverages with friendly service. This part-time position supports campus dining operations with flexible shifts and open availability for coverage.

You will greet guests, craft coffees and teas, maintain clean work areas, and assist with customer suggestions. A High School diploma and customer service experience are preferred, with benefits and training opportunities

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Customer service experience.
• Knowledge of food preparation and sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Greets all guests with quick, friendly, and personalized service.
• Mixes and serves hot and cold beverages such as coffee, espresso, cappuccino, tea, and other drinks.
• Maintains good customer relations and speeds delivery of beverages and food items.
• Educates guests about menu offerings and initiates suggestive selling.
• Keeps coffee bar and prep areas clean and well organized.
• Records sales, handles cash, and follows cash-handling procedures.
