Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services at California State University-Channel Islands is seeking skilled bakers to prepare breads, pies, cakes, cookies and other pastries according to recipes and production specs.

We offer both full-time and part-time positions in Camarillo, with varying schedules including weekdays, weeknights, weekends and holidays. Prior baking experience is required. Pay ranges from $22.00 to $25.00 per hour, with online applications accepted.

Responsabilités

• Bake breads, pies, cakes, cookies and other pastries as necessary per production sheets.
• Ensure proper food preparation by following approved recipes and production standards.
• Assist with production records, waste tracking, and supplies shortages; inform supervisor when stock is low.
• Maintain presentation, food quality, portion control and serving temperatures.
• Keep equipment and workstation clean and organized; follow safety regulations.
• Interact with customers and address complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
