Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Complete routine security logs and incident reports.
  • Assist with emergency communications and coordination.
  • Support campus operations as needed.

Campus Attendant
Job Summary:

We are seeking a friendly and approachable Campus Attendant to join our team at Riverside Commons in Dearborn, MI. As a Campus Attendant, you will serve as a welcoming presence for residents, visitors, vendors, and staff while maintaining a safe and secure environment throughout the campus. This part-time role combines reception responsibilities with routine campus monitoring and customer service. Responsibilities:
  • Greet residents, families, visitors, vendors, and staff in a courteous and professional manner
  • Answer and direct incoming telephone calls
  • Monitor visitor sign-in procedures and facility access as required
  • Conduct scheduled interior and exterior rounds of the campus
  • Observe and report safety hazards, maintenance concerns, suspicious activity, or security issues
  • Complete routine security logs and incident reports accurately and promptly
  • Assist with emergency communications and coordination while maintaining personal safety
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the smooth operation of the campus
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in customer service, reception, hospitality, healthcare, or security preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong observational skills and sound judgment
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and email
  • Ability to work independently while remaining an active member of the campus team
