Responsibilities include one-on-one or small group tutoring, weekly reporting, and NCAA rule training. Hours fluctuate by need, with an on-campus work location and a starting wage of $12/hour, eligible for increases to $16/hour over time.

Qualifications

• Must be a junior by class standing with a minimum 3.0 GPA and earned A or B in tutoring coursework.
• Active listening, professionalism, and confidentiality are essential.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Tutor student-athletes one-on-one or in small groups, establishing rapport with patience and discretion.
• File individual reports for each meeting by the end of the appointment day.
• Receive NCAA rules training at semester start for working with student-athletes.
• Hours per week may vary; set availability and honor agreed hours.
• Work within Office of Academic Support hours (Mon-Thu 8am–10pm, Fri 8am–5pm, Sun 12pm–5pm).
• Be aware of campus location and the on-campus requirements.
