University of Wyoming is seeking an Assistant Athletic Trainer for the Football program at the High Altitude Performance Center. This on-campus role assists the football-certified staff with sports medicine functions and daily clinic operations.
Candidate must be a currently enrolled UW student, eligible for work-study, and possess a valid driver’s license. The position requires flexible weekday afternoon/evening hours and occasional travel with the team.

Department: Front line support for UW student-athletes while competing in their sport while gaining professional relationships and knowledge of various sports, first aid care, and general sports medicine knowledge/exposure. This position serves University of Wyoming student athletes
Job location: High Altitude Performance Center
Pay rate: $9.00/Hour
Job purpose: Assist University of Wyoming Football Certified Athletic Training Staff with Sports Medicine Functions
Experience with Exercise Science/Kinesiology immersion; First Aid Skill; Critical Thinking Skills; Fast-Paced Working Environment
Majors most-related to the position: Kinesiology / Biology / Any and All Medical Professions
On-campus: This position provides vital support to campus customers, and the successful candidate must be available to work and perform essential job functions on campus, understanding our location is at 7,220 feet above sea level.
