Job summary

Wayland Baptist University – Hawaii Campus is seeking a Site Coordinator to oversee academic operations at the Schofield Barracks and Tripler Army Education Centers. You will represent WBU and coordinate with anchor schools to ensure smooth academic affairs for students and faculty.

The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, experience in higher education advising, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic, military-base environment.

Qualifications

• Associates’ degree is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
• Experience in higher education academic advising is preferred.
• Two (2) years of proven experience in an office setting is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic advising and guide students to register and properly request military TA.
• Plan and organize Education Fairs and marketing efforts for WBU and general education on the base (bi-annual and as needed).
• Attend and promote WBU at monthly New Arrival Orientations (NAO).
• Attend weekly Education Center (EC) meetings and take/publish minutes in rotation.
• Assure proper care and operation of Classroom equipment regularly.
• Issue student/faculty/staff base passes each term.
• Maintain proper running and functioning of site office and equipment.
• Assist Base professors with class coordination/ office needs.
• Act as liaison between EC staff and WBU.
• Maintain collegial rapport with other EC anchor school reps.
