Job summary

Eagle Mount in Bozeman, MT seeks a Camps and Community Director to lead Big Sky Kids oncology camps, facilitate retreats, and grow Eagle Mount’s community programs. The role is based on our 39-acre campus and reports to the Director of Programs as part of the Program Director team.

This is a full-time, exempt position with a generous benefits package, including agency-sponsored health, a 4% 403(b) retirement match, and ample PTO.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in related field or four years of equivalent experience.
• Excellent group facilitation and team building skills.
• Experience in a camp setting and enthusiasm for camp benefits.
• Experience working with children with chronic or life-threatening illness.
• Experience with outdoor recreational activities.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Lead established Big Sky Kids oncology camps.
• Provide group facilitation for retreats.
• Support ongoing participant and volunteer engagement.
• Design and grow additional multi-day opportunities for the Eagle Mount community.
