Yellowstone Alliance Adventures is seeking a Christ-centered Executive Director to guide the ministry into its next season of growth in Bozeman, Montana. You will steward strategic vision, governance, finances, and staff development for a vibrant youth and family outdoor ministry.
The successful candidate will nurture partnerships, lead fundraising efforts, and balance pastoral leadership with effective operations to expand programs, campus facilities, and community impact for years to come.
Since 1961, YAA has served the Gallatin Valley as a place set apart where children, students, families, and churches experience outdoor adventure, meaningful relationships, and spiritual transformation. Our missions is to direct people to Jesus Christ and develop them to reflect His character.
YAA operates day, overnight, and family summer camps; year-round retreats and group rentals; winter and community events; LEAP, a nature-based Christian preschool; and leadership pipelines including the Ridge Leadership initiative (15-month internship), the Joshua Project (college-age staff), and the Timothy Program (high school). The multi-phase Ascend Campaign is underway, adding a new cabin village, waterfront, and gathering space that will expand camp capacity and allow retreat groups of up to 150 guests.
YAA seeks a Christ-centered Executive Director to lead the ministry into its next season of growth. The next Executive Director will inherit a healthy ministry, a committed staff and leadership team, strong community relationships, a devoted and engaged Board, and an expanding campus.
Growth in programs, year-round operations, staff, and campus construction has increased the complexity of the organization. The Board is seeking a leader who will preserve YAA's pastoral, relational heart while bringing the executive, financial, organizational, and fundraising strength needed to steward a growing ministry. This leader must move comfortably between people and strategy, ministry and business, vision and implementation.
