Job summary

Equity LifeStyle Properties, Inc. is hiring a Campground Ranger in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. You will patrol the campground grounds, answer guest questions, enforce rules and help keep guests and their belongings safe.

The role requires calm judgment in stressful situations, strong customer service, and the ability to work weekends and holidays. A valid driver’s license and a reliable driving record are preferred, with on-site duties and a focus on guest safety.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic reading, writing and math skills; ability to use computer applications.
Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
Ability to assess a situation, use judgment and resolve problems diplomatically.
Exceptional customer service and communications skills with a friendly demeanor.
Security/Law enforcement experience or RV environment familiarity is a plus.
Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance.
Ability to work weekends and holidays regularly.

Responsibilities

Monitor the property for issues or potential problems.
Ensure the property is properly secured.
Ensure guests comply with resort rules and contact law enforcement if necessary.
Monitor campground gate access for validity.
Perform routine patrols, golf cart and rental inspections.
Take camping reservations, check guests in/out, and sell day passes.
Prioritize guest safety and happiness.
On-call emergency service as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
