Job summary

KCN Campgrounds in Wisconsin Dells is seeking a Workcamper for Maintenance and Grounds to help keep campground buildings, facilities and grounds in top condition. You will perform basic carpentry, electrical and plumbing repairs, maintain the pool area, landscaping, mowing and general upkeep, and assist with housekeeping or guest services as needed.

This role requires lifting, working nights and weekends, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work safely both indoors and outdoors;

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing equipment and installation.
• Basic knowledge of chemical properties, handling, and usage.
• Basic knowledge of propane and gasoline dispensing.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Capable of working independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic carpentry, electrical and plumbing repairs, and maintenance to campground buildings, facilities, equipment and grounds as directed by the Campground Manager, the Maintenance Supervisor or the owner(s).
• Implement daily, weekly and monthly maintenance and cleaning programs, including the pool/spa, lawn mowing, weed eating, landscaping, garbage pick-up, propane pumping, game machines, laundry servicing and other upkeep.
• Comply with safety programs and report problems to management.
• Provide superior customer service by being attentive, responsive and helpful to guests' needs.
• Assist with Housekeeping or Guest Services duties as needed.
