Job summary

The Staenberg-Loup Jewish Community Center of Denver seeks a full-time Assistant Director of Camper Wellness to lead inclusion initiatives and supervise camp operations. You will design inclusive programs, oversee staff training, and collaborate with the Camp Shai team to ensure safe, engaging experiences for children from Kindergarten through 10th grade.

Qualifications

Must be at least 21 years old and have 5+ years of verifiable experience with children.
First Aid & CPR certification required, opportunities for certification provided.
Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Special Education, Social Work, or related field.

Responsibilities

Communicate and oversee inclusion policies at Camp Shai and School’s Out!
Engage and facilitate programming to promote positive youth development
Design and implement character-based programming including community-service projects
Collaborate on curriculum development for School’s Out! programs
Supervise Camp Shai’s Ozrim/Counselor-in-Training program and support implementation
Develop kindergarten readiness resources with the Early Learning School (ELS)
