Job summary

Camp Barney Medintz in Georgia is seeking a marketing and recruitment lead to develop campaigns that showcase our camp programs, culture, and dual staffing model. You will manage external guides and family directories to recruit new camper families.

You will partner with leadership on messaging for students and young professionals, track goals, and adjust strategies across enrollment and staffing. This role also covers CampMinder administration and summer office operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead camper and staff recruitment marketing campaigns and materials showcasing Camp Barney Medintz programs and dual staffing model.
• Manage camp's presence in external guides and family directories to support new camper family recruitment.
• Partner with leadership on staff recruitment messaging for students and young professionals.
• Track recruitment goals and adjust strategy across camper enrollment and staff hiring.
• Execute annual marketing plan with Marketing Department to position Camp Barney Medintz as a premier camp destination.
• Maintain and update the camp website, email campaigns, and social media content calendar.
• Serve as primary contact for family communications year-round and during summer.
• Draft, edit, and distribute family newsletters with warm, professional voice.
• Oversee CampMinder administration: setup sessions, forms, and enrollment caps.
• Manage full annual registration cycle and troubleshoot issues.
• Generate and analyze registration reports for staffing and planning.
• Train summer office staff on CampMinder usage.
• Oversee summer office operations and hire/train staff.
• Ensure forms are collected and compliant; collaborate with Health Center and HR.
