The John Thomas Dye School in Los Angeles seeks a Director of Major Gifts and Campaign Manager to lead the capital campaign and build a durable major gifts program. You will own a substantial prospect portfolio and guide staff, volunteers, and leadership in solicitation, stewardship, and strategy to sustain the school's philanthropic vision.

This senior role emphasizes campaign execution, donor engagement, and data-driven fundraising with opportunities to shape a long-term major gifts program

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's Degree and at least 10 years of work experience.
• Substantial fundraising/development experience, preferably in an independent school, with a demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding revenue targets.
• Knowledgeable in major gifts, campaign fundraising, annual fundraising, donor relations.
• Experience with Raiser's Edge NXT or similar CRM platform.
• Proficient knowledge of Google Suite or similar office suite.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to work with parents, students, faculty, staff, and outside vendors.
• Excellent teamwork and management skills.
• Ability to manage numerous tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Aufgaben

• Manage campaign operations: day-to-day activities, track solicitations, pledges, and gift processing.
• Lead moves management for all prospects, tracking activity and coordinating donor moves toward cultivation and solicitation goals.
• Research and identify prospects and provide detailed donor profiles for planning.
• Prepare briefing materials and proposals for leadership and volunteer solicitations.
• Produce campaign progress reports and donor analytics for leadership and Board committees.
• Meet regularly with frontline fundraisers to assess prospect lists and research needs, developing solicitation strategies.
