Job summary

The Fairness Project seeks a campaign coordinator in the San Diego area to oversee day-to-day operations, organize organic communications, and direct voter contact campaigns. This role supports a Democratic candidate positioned to win the general election, with the assignment ending on Election Day.

Responsibilities include recruiting/train volunteers, drafting communications, and staffing events both in-person and virtual.

Qualifications

• At least one cycle of campaign experience preferred.
• Strong writing skills and ability to draft political communications.
• Proficiency with Google and Microsoft Office suites.
• Based in San Diego or willing to relocate to San Diego.
• Desire to fight for a more just and equitable future.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and train volunteers, run field program and direct voter-contact activities
• Draft campaign communications including social media content
• Staff the candidate at in-person and virtual events
• Other campaign duties as needed
