Job summary

A summer camp organization is seeking a Unit Head responsible for the happiness and well-being of campers and staff. Qualifications

• Experience successfully and happily working with kids and youth.
• Experience successfully and happily supervising others as part of a team.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• A positive, happy, patient, and collaborative nature.
• Ability to observe and assess behavior and provide redirection as needed.
• Leadership experience in a residential camp setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise unit counselors and specialists.
• Know all the campers and staff in your unit.
• Call all campers in the two weeks prior to their arrival.
• Train staff and oversee the process of completing bunk DCRs.
• Responsible for unit evening programs and administrative responsibilities.
• Participate in all-camp Leadership Team activities.
