Cornell Cooperative Extension of Suffolk County is seeking a Program Director for a Southold, NY 4-H camp program. You will coordinate development and delivery of activities across areas such as outdoor education and environmental science, supervise counselors, and help with scheduling and evaluation.

The role supports a seasonal program with evening activities, emphasizes positive youth development, and requires strong leadership and organizational skills.

Formación

• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Must meet the minimum age requirement for the program.
• Ability to meet travel requirements as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and direct development and implementation of a 4-H camp program.
• Supervise camp counselors and assist with scheduling and evaluation.
• Lead and assist in one evening program per week and other camp activities.
• Assess and report on program effectiveness and camper satisfaction.
• Ensure health and safety policies are followed and incidents are documented.
