Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred and substantial related experience in camp management or hospitality.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience in camp management, guest relations, and outdoor education.
• ACCT Level 1 & 2 and CCM certification to be obtained within 180 days of hire.
• LGI, Lifeguarding, and Waterfront Skills certifications to be obtained within 180 days of hire.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certifications within 180 days of hire.
• Archery Instructor Training Level 1 certification within 180 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Supervise year-round retreat staff, interns and volunteers to ensure high-quality guest experiences.
• Oversee Banquet & Meetings, catering coordination, and event setup to maintain customer satisfaction.
• Manage aquatics, AV, and event technology services for events with emphasis on safety and guest experience.
• Organize training for staff and volunteers; oversee hiring, onboarding and performance evaluations.
• Assist in budget development and financial management for Camp Buckner operations.
• Develop relationships with guests and donors, and represent Buckner at events.
