The Camp Oak Attendant will be responsible for supervising daily activities with children and performing other duties as assigned by management. The ideal candidate should have good communication skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Ensure all parents correctly fill out the registration form for their children, including relevant health history.
2. Create and maintain an inventory of all toys and equipment at the club.
3. Ensure all equipment is clean and properly maintained.
4. Notify the Assistant Activities / Camp Oak Supervisor of any needs for additional or replacement toys.
5. Follow daily, weekly, and monthly activity schedules as instructed by the Camp Oak Supervisor.
6. Enforce all club rules and regulations at all times.
7. Keep the club/display area clean and tidy. Be familiar with the club's facilities, schedules, promotions, and prices.
8. Assist with daily operations of Kid’s Programs, including registration and lunch arrangements.
9. Prepare daily children’s activities and ensure crafts are ready each day.
10. Participate in special holiday activities and other resort family or group events.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Essential:

• Enjoy working with children.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to work outdoors in heat or cold for extended periods.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends.
• Possess a positive, outgoing, and friendly personality.
• Follow OVI standards of presentation, body language, and verbiage.
• Work well as part of a team.
• Communicate satisfactorily in English with parents, children, management, and co-workers.
• Legal right to work in the US.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic arithmetic skills.
• Legible written communication skills.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.

Desirable:

• At least one year of experience working with children.
• CPR/First Aid certification.
• Previous guest relations training.

The pay for this position is $19/hour plus gratuities.
