Job Title: Camp Oak Attendant

The Camp Oak Attendant will be responsible for daily activities with children, as well as all other duties assigned by management. The ideal candidate must have good communication skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

Job Functions:

1. Ensure all parents fill out the registration form for their children correctly, containing the child's history.
2. Create an inventory for all toys and equipment at the club.
3. Ensure all equipment is clean and properly maintained.
4. Inform the Assistant Activities / Camp Oak Supervisor of any need for additional or replacement toys.
5. Follow daily, weekly, and monthly activity schedules as instructed by the Camp Oak Supervisor.
6. Enforce all clubs’ rules and regulations at all times.
7. Maintain a clean and tidy club/display area at all times. Be fully aware of the club's facilities, timings, promotions, and prices.
8. Assist with daily operations of Kid’s Programs, including registration and lunch.
9. Create daily children’s activities and prepare crafts for each day.
10. Assist with special holiday activities and other resort family or group activities.

Qualification Requirements:

Essential:

• Enjoy working with children.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds.
• Ability to work outdoors in heat and cold for extended periods.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends.
• Possess a positive, outgoing, and friendly personality.
• Follow OVI standards of Presentation, Body Language, and Verbiage.
• Work cohesively as part of a team.
• Communicate satisfactorily in English with parents, children, management, and co-workers.
• Legal right to work in the US.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic arithmetic skills.
• Legible written communication skills.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.

Desirable:

• At least one year of experience working with children.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Previous guest relations training.

The pay for this position is $19/hour plus gratuities.
